Outfit dilemmas!

One thing I experience on a daily basis, is the tragic realization, that I, do not, have any clothes. Now, you could get the wrong idea and think that i'm a mad naked homeless woman, but this is in fact, very far from the truth. My wardrobe just happens to be vomiting out more and more clothes over my floordrobe every time I enter my bedroom.

But, it never fails to happen, 7am on a College day, I get the dreaded doom realization that I do not have anything to wear today. "Have my friends seen me in this?" "I wore this last week!!! they're surely going to remember" "No. That makes me look fat." "Gah, What was i thinking when i bought this?!" Those are a handful of the questions I ask myself and i'm fairly sure i'm not the only one.

There is a lot of controversy when it comes to outfits and College or Uni. School, it didn't matter, we were held against our will and HAD to wear a repulsive school uniform, 5 days a week, banned from even looking remotely unique. But no, college is the time where everyone is now allowed to wear whatever the hell they like, but then we get judged by our clothing choices. "Ohmygosh, she wore that outfit yesterday. She's OBVIOUSLY a poor skank." "Why on earth is she wearing that?! It's only college, not an audition for the latest Fifty shades of Grey porn spoof." or just, "What. The. F*ck."

This always leaves us with questions. What do you wear to College or Uni? What DON'T you wear? What is the term 'dressing up' and what isn't?
But I have pondered these facts and have come to some conclusions.

As you're now in College and there's no dress code, this gives people the excuse to think that they can a) dress in pretty much their PJ's to show their annoyance for having to get up in the morning
or b) spend 5 hours in the morning to then turn up in an outfit that slightly resembles one of Lady Gaga's fashion statements. or c) just wear what you feel comfortable in because honestly, unless you're wearing something such as option b, people really don't care what you're wearing. Everyone is at college to learn and get an education (well, you do get some people that are there to mess around and make their tutor's lives hell), they aren't there to judge you on what you look like. Truth is, the majority of students at college are probably half asleep, in their own little world or too engrossed in Facebook/Twitter land on their phones to care.

So, what I'm trying to say is, girlies, I know its hard (I find it hard too) but honestly, if you have proper hygiene care and AT LEAST matching colours and patterns, don't worry about what you wear and spend hours trying to work it out in the morning. Life if too short to spend hours scratching your head and getting agitated while looking in your wardrobe. :) x

p.s. but I do agree that it's nice having an excuse to go out shopping!! ;) x
